Okay, not even seconds after posting this the problem has vanished as suddenly as it appeared, but I haven't made any changes in the past 15 minutes at least (to firefox, firefox nightly, or any of the settings on my phone)

If anyone has encountered a similar problem I would appreciate insight on how to resolve it should it arise again.

Please make sure you have the latest version of Firefox for Android. Also, try clearing cached storage, which will be similar to: open Android Settings, tap “Apps”, find “Firefox” and clear the cached storage (not data!). If this doesn’t work for you (and the problem persists), please come back here and we can look into a different solution for you.

i am having same problem of input lag on the address bar on my tablet device . the keyboard is poping up late and its lags like anything when i type but there is no lag on websites search bar . i have cleared the caches , reinstalled it updated it but of no use it was present in previous version too but i thought it would get solved on the next update and today i updated it to 85.1.1 but the problem is still there . it makes the app un usable
