Firefox hangs when printing

Whenever I press 'print', Firefox hangs repeatedly for ~15 seconds. After ~15s it will respond again for ~4 seconds, before hanging again for ~15s.

I've tried running in Safe mode: same problem.

I've tried reinstalling Firefox: same problem.

I do not have this problem in Chrome.

Has anyone else solved this problem? Please can anyone help?

Can you create an account at https://bugzilla.mozilla.org/ and report the issue there for the developers to investigate (make sure you have "printing" in the title of the bug report)? This forum provides help on using Firefox, but for help with things that are actually broken you need to report it to the developers.
