Need help with setting up my gmail on Thunderbird. I not a power user and do not understand what is needed. Problem started when TB did an up date.

I need help to get Thunderbird working with Gmail again. It was working before the latest TB upgrade.

I am not a power computer user and do not understand what to do. The last time this happened I had to get a special password from Goggle but do not remember how to get the PW nor what to do with the new PW.

When you first start TB, it will ask you for your gMail address and password. Once you provide them, it should find your existing gMail account and set it up automatically.
