Hi Moe, I can't think of any built-in feature to close a tab when you open a new one.

What is the scenario for opening a new tab? For example:

  • Following a link in the page, want it to open in the same tab, not a new tab
  • Leaving a site and want to use the Firefox Home / new tab page
  • Something else
