My emails in Thunderbird no longer 'sends'. I get the message 'Sending of the message failed. An error occurred while sending mail. The mail server responded: Authentication Required. Learn more at

Then you need to contact gmail support because they probably changed their server access. This isn't something Firefox forum nor Thunderbird can fix you need to get the new settings from Gmail support to setup the connections.
