thunderbird crashing
hello I am running thunderbird under linux mint. recently upgraded to the lastest version of linux. restored my .thunderbird DIR and everything works however its been crashing.
i found the crash ID. Crash ID: bp-027d32f5-5c07-4a04-8d14-6e4870250103 is there anything else i can provide for assistance?

You have several language packs, so the first thing I'd try is troubleshoot mode (under Help), which disables add-ons. The crash report points to an issue with Pango, which suggests the problem is a conflict between Pango and one or more of the packs.
that is interesting. so can i just remove all the other language packs? and or Pango ?
Do a test in troubleshoot mode, which will disable add-ons like language packs. If it doesn't crash, that suggests one or more of the packs is the cause. If crashes continue, consider updating the Pango module to the latest version.
wouldnt regular updates take care of pango? if so, then i should be up to date.
