Now that I am using it as an external drive, how do I get the harddrive I removed from my laptop to display like it did when it was still in the laptop , when I connect it to a new computer?. I can't locate my Firefxox bookmarks that I originally saved to the HD when it was in the laptop. The laptop is dead but fortunately I was able to salvage the hard drive. I Need help urgently since I have tons of bookmarked pages and saved passwords that are critical to my work and life. The original laptop that the HD came from has a Windows Vista OS. The netbook I connect the HD to uses Windows XP. == This happened == Every time Firefox opened == when I converted laptop HD to an external drive.
