Missing file on the server: http://dailypaintersinternationalgallerynews.blogspot.com/AC_RunActiveContent.js You can contact the site via email to inform them about that missing file.

Not understanding, contact who? DPIAG is "my" site so obviously I already know. Who do I contact to get it fixed or how do I fix it? Thanks, Madison

It is this part in the page code that causes the alert: <script language="javascript">AC_FL_RunContent = 0;</script> <script src="AC_RunActiveContent.js" language="javascript"></script>

<script language="javascript"> if (AC_FL_RunContent == 0) {

alert("This page requires AC_RunActiveContent.js.");

} So you need to place a copy of the file AC_RunActiveContent.js in the root location on your server: http://dailypaintersinternationalgallerynews.blogspot.com/AC_RunActiveContent.js

I have requested info on how to do this application or to remove the signal altogether as I will not need it, and got no reply. Thanks, Madison

This is the advise you gave me: (also see below) So you need to place a copy of the file AC_RunActiveContent.js in the root location on your server: http://dailypaintersinternationalgallerynews.blogspot.com/AC_RunActiveContent.js

However, I have no access to your server so how can I do this?

I have researched all over, forums, firefox, everywhere and cannot get this resolved. If there is a way for me to do this then please instruct me. ..or can you please fix this?

I asked for instructions and never got an answer. Your response will be greatly appreciated.

Thanks you, Madison

Try to ask at the MozillaZine Web Development/Standards Evangelism forum.

I have the same problem but other sites have different problems.

This site has the same problem (AC_RunActive Content.js): http://www.discovery.org/ It worked before and works with Internet Explorer Other parts of this site have distorted images.

This site is gibberish when it loads: http://voiptest.packet8.net/ But again it works with MSIE

This site has some images, etc., that do not load yet others of the same class do: http://www.yogananda-srf.org/ ..but works in MSIE

I have put samples from these in a Screenshot, with an MSIE sample for the last site as well

i disabled all add-ons and it still did these things. I tried Firefox in Safe mode but it was the same.

Firefox is my preferred browser so I hope this can be fixed.

The solution may be simpler than you realize. I started having this problem on a website, right after I had blocked a field using ABP. It is a field which uses Adobe Flash Player. As soon as I removed the block, the error went away.

I have this problem and its not caused by the website. The site loads fine with internet explorer on the same machine. I've tried uninstalling and reinstalling firefox 5, and reinstalling adobe flash, but it doesn't work. Giving up on firefox.

@Mikewb64

Can you post a link?

Did you verify that you can load that script file via the location bar in a browser tab?
