Such details are stored in a cookie.
- You must allow that cookie: Tools > Options > Privacy > Cookies: "Exceptions"
- Make sure that you do not use Delete browsing, search and download history on Firefox to clear the "Cookies" and the "Site Preferences"
Why not make this as a part of the tools. It is stupid to me that you store this in a cookie as I have many programs that clean my cookies. Cookies are dangerous, or have not you heard this.
Wake up Firefox.
