I can't copy and paste links from the address bar to Facebook, an e-mail, etc.

I have been trying all morning to copy and paste a link to an e-mail to a friend. When I copy it from the address bar and right-click in the e-mail (or on FB or in an IM), none of the options (Cut, Copy, Paste, etc.) in the dialogue box is usable.

you should try the copy+paste tool CLICKTO! (It's for free!) That tool will post your link to FB in just one click. All you have to do is to press STRG+C after marking your desired link. Clickto will show you the opportunities options for the paste action. Choose FB and CLICKTO will post you link to FB automatically. Take a look how it works here: http://www.clicktoapp.com
