I get the message "Invalid security certificate" I click OK., and then the message disappears and I am not given the option to enter an exception and approve the site. It is the e-mail address for my office (state agency) and as a cost saving measure, they are not paying for a continued security certificate. How do I get to the "exception page?" Is there a security section in the FireFox program I need to change? I hate to have to switch to IE every time I want to check my office mail. Thanks for the assist. Tigerbeetle.

If you can't add an exception, but get a pop-up with the error message then you can check the pref browser.xul.error_pages.enabled on the about:config page and make sure that the value is set to the true (default).

To open the about:config page, type about:config in the location (address) bar and press the "Enter" key, just like you type the url of a website to open a website.
If you see a warning then you can confirm that you want to access that page.
