Firefox opens in off line mode

Each time my MacBook Pro sleeps and wakes up it is in off line mode. When I close Firefox and re-open it, it opens in off line mode. It has not done this before until I did the last update to 3.6.12

This has been happening lately, but not consistently.

My environment:

Mac OS 10.6.8, 3.4Ghz Intel Core i7

The problem—sporadic—occurs when I log out (quit) Firefox, then re-open the app. The only thing that has changed recently is the addition of an extension: NoScript 2.3.4.

Am now running Firefox 11, but the problem was present under the previous release as well.
