Older version, finger swipe would open the website page by automatic filling of username/password. Latest Firefox gives ERROR

HP Probook 6550b Windows 7. HP Protect Tools Password Manager. In the older version of Firefox, once I swipe my finger, the Password Manager would pop up and once I select the bank, it would open the bank site automatically. The latest Firefox does not do so. It gives an error "Firefox doesn't know how to open this address, because the protocol (dpql) isn't associated with any program." Please help. . Regards.
