With FF4, I'm not getting option to save tabs in quitting application. With FF3, option was always presented. Info on general problem in FF Help gives troubleshooting measures, but none seems relevant. and none is specific to FF4. (See http://support.mozilla.com/en-US/kb/Firefox does not ask to save tabs and windows on exit?s=save+tabs&as=s .) Do I have to resort to bookmarking tab group?

How about trying "Restore previous session" under History? I assume that would do it but I've not tried.

I just tried and it works fine :-)

You can set the warn prefs on the about:config page to true via the right-click context menu or toggle with a double left-click.

To open the about:config page, type about:config in the location (address) bar and press the "Enter" key, just like you type the url of a website to open a website.
If you see a warning then you can confirm that you want to access that page.

Thanks to everyone. I find that "Restore previous session" is only a partial solution. It restores ALL tabs from previous sessions -- not simply ones existing at quitting. But this could be better than nothing. Cor-el: I'm unclear about your suggestion. Which option should be changed? And what risks am I taking? The warning makes me hesitant.
