I just updated to Firefox 4. Only one major problem. I know all the methods to disable Google's automated AutoComplete function. I've used them for years with Firefox. The methods eliminated Google's search suggestions but retained everything I typed in the search engine (personal search history in drop-down box). But now, after updating to FF4, every method to block AutoComplete now all-of-a-sudden blocks the typed-in searches (personal search history) from the drop-down menu. The drop-down box of search terms I've typed is missing. What can I do to re-enable the drop-down box of what I've typed in, while blocking the automated search suggestions?
