After I close out of Firefox and later go to reopen it tells me it is open and I have to reboot to use it. Huh?
I recently downloaded VS 4.0 and am having problems. It seems to want to stay open even if I close out. I close the program and later when I want to get back on it tells me it is running. I need to reboot in order to get back on. How can I fix this or how can Mozilla fix this?

Thanks Cor-el, I went there and it was more information then I could rapidly digest. The hang at exit portion seemed most helpful. I am going to try first exiting from file/exit rather then the red X on the right and see how that works. This is an intermittent problem but annoying due to the reboot. ipunty
Try a new profile.
Create a new profile as a test to check if your current profile is causing the problems.
See:
There may be extensions and plugins installed by default in a new profile, so check that in "Tools > Add-ons > Extensions & Plugins"
If that new profile works then you can transfer some files from the old profile to that new profile (be careful not to copy corrupted files)
