After installing Firefox 4.01 I've been able to set up my toolbars pretty much like I want them. However. the bar area to the right of the menu bar shows up with what appear to be some sort of blurry icons. There are seven of them. I cannot tell what they are and none are active when the cursor is placed on them. It's an anouyance that I'd like to get rid of. What is it?

I must apologize for asking a dumb question. I just realized that the area I described is semi transparent on the Firefox window. Therefore, if there happen to be desktop icons directly behind that area, they will appear as blurry items. I realized this only after moving the Firefox window lower on my screen. Thanks for your time.
