when I want to open a new tab, I either have to hit 'ctrl T' or click on 'Firefox' in the top left corner to bring up the menu and then click on 'new tab'. the 'new tab button' ,"+", is no longer there on the tab bar.

some appearance add-ons, specifically 'Walnut for Firefox', does not provide the new tab button on the tab bar
