when I log into a secure site, firefow will not allow and then I lose my connection
When I log in to sites that need user name and password,somtimes I can connect. When I do, trying to go to a link on that page, message comes up, do not allow. When I click to allow I lose my log in, or I am timed out and have to start again to log in again. Or redirecting to a link, a blank page comes up.

The setting in "Tools > Options > Advanced > General" is meant as an accessibility feature, as you can see by the label of that section, so that people with disabilities or people who use screen readers do not get confused and is not meant as a safety protection to stop redirecting.
