I just updated to the latest edition and it will not load any pages, just sits there with the hourglass going.....

It pulls up the window, but the only thing on the firefox start page is "about mozilla". It won't finish loading, nor will it load any other website at all. It just sits there with the hourglass and I can't push any buttons on it at all. Please help, I'm having to use IE and I hate it.

Usually caused by your Firewall not recognizing/allowing the new version to connect to the internet.

I noticed that you posted using IE6, which has many serious security issues. You need IE installed for proper operation of some operating system components and to keep your Windows XP updated each month. You should go to the Microsoft site and upgrade to IE8. IE8 is the last/latest version of IE for Windows XP.
