After downloading 6.0.2, FirefFox constantly crashes; it crashes in safe mode, and I tried the suggestions from your help page; I've tried all suggestions, to no avail; I've never had this problem with this browser

There is known malware that can specifically crash Firefox 6. It would be worth doing a full security scan of your system with up-to-date security software. (If you do that say what software and version you use for the scan).

Have you tried to obtain a crash ID ?
