2 problems: History does not show current sites and clear history does not respond
After firefox update and restart, History is not recording new sites visited. Shows same entries from days ago.
Clear History just spins for several minutes before message saying not responding.

Do you still remember history?
- Tools > Options > Privacy > History: Firefox will: "Remember history"
A possible cause is a problem with the file places.sqlite that stores the bookmarks and the history.
Thank you for responding to my call for help. I still remember history. I'm trying to work through the info you provided and will let you know if I succeed or fail. It will be a few days as family health issue takes precedent.
