When I do a search I get redirected and do not get to find the site I want. I have gone into Tools/options/advanced and check the option for Warn when site tries to redirect.
Providing more Information: I did have trojan's infecting my computer I did a deep scan and removed them. The problem was occurring prior to the scan and after the scan. I do not know if this is an issue for Firefox or my antivirus people.

Do a malware check with a few malware scan programs. You need to use all programs because each detects different malware. Make sure that you update each program to get the latest version of the database.
