ever since I upgraded to Firefox 8.0 I cannot download audio files anymore!!! when I click on the link to an audio file, instead of it asking me what to do, it automatically opens it in the browser... this happens with all midi wav and mp3 files!!!

That happens if you have a plugin like QuickTime installed that handles those files.
