I have downloaded the latest version. It extracts and seems to be ready to go. Even after closing down and then restarting, I get the same start-up page when using Firefox to access the web. It says that I am not using the latest version. I have tried the process several times.

In short, I am unable to access the latest version.

all you have to do is to set another page as the home page, see why is that in cor-el reply here .
