how do i add websites to trusted sites in 9.0.1 ? I do not see trusted sites option anywhere under Tools > Options

Firefox doesn't use the concept of trusted websites.
You can set exceptions from the default settings for things like cookies and images.

You can inspect and manage the permissions for all domains on the about:permissions page via the location bar.
