Firefox cursor leaves a "trace" behind

When ever I'm in firefox and am typing, the cursor tends to leave behind a residual vertical bar If I use the arrow keys to move around there are numerous of these marks left in my typed text. This happens with all websites. It does NOT happen in IE or Chrome, or any other windows app on my machine. I am using FF11 and my machine is windows 7 pro.

Try to disable hardware acceleration.
