every time i click the firefox icon a crash report shows up instead
i click on the icon it says it crashed i click on the icon three more times does it again then start in safe mode comes up i try it it does it again and then that reset comes up i click on that it does it again it keeps going it been like that for weeks the only way i can use fire fox is when i sign in as admin and i try hitting details the details of the crash won't come up

hello, when you can start firefox in safemode, please enter about:crashes into the address bar and copy the latest few crash report ids from this window & paste them here into a forum reply... this will help us understand better what is causing those crashes.
maybe the norton toolbar plays a part in it. if you're in an active subscription you can probably upgrade to the norton 2013 product line free of charge - otherwise please try disabling the toolbar in firefox > addons > extensions while you're in safemode.
