Fonts are now appearing italic - Mac

iMac using Mac OSX 10.8.4 - Firefox 22.0

Just out of the blue some fonts (not all) on my iMac using Firefox 22.0 are now italic. I performed a reset of Firefox and it didn't fix the problem.

I switched to default font from Arial to Gill Sans and no luck.

I updated Firefox on my MacBook Pro and there are no issues there and the also on another iMac. So it obviously is a local issue, any ideas as to what's causing this annoying issue?
