I tried doing the Family Safety procedure in Microsoft and there wasn't an option of Family Safety to choose in the pop-up box. I am still getting Untrusted Connection error message when trying to log on to Yahoo.com.

Hi judelos, take a look at this article. It gives information on why you may be getting that message and it also says what to do so that you wont get that message when you try to go to sites like Yahoo.

This did not solve my problem. For one thing, there was no option for Microsoft Family Safety. I chose another option and deleted the cert8.db but I still can't log onto Yahoo.

You would have to export the certificate from Microsoft Family Safety in IE to a .cer file and import this certificate in the Firefox Certificate Manager if that software doesn't provide such an option itself.

That is to only way to prevent an untrusted connection message if there is software installed that places itself in the connection path.

Sorry, I am not a techie. I have no idea what cor-el just said. First of all, there was no option of "Microsoft Family Safety" and I do not know what IE is. I have no idea how to export and import files. I don't even know where to find these files. :(

IE is the Microsoft Internet Explorer. You can open the Yahoo site in Internet Explorer (https://www.yahoo.com) and click the padlock on the address bar to check the details of the certificate. You will likely find Microsoft Family Safety as one of the certificates in the certificate chain and be able to export this certificate.

Then you can import this certificate in the Certificate Manager in Firefox.

You can tap the Alt key or press F10 to show the Menu Bar or use the Options button in the "3-bar" Firefox menu button drop-down list.

I clicked on the padlock and there is one certificate listed. In the details, there is no Microsoft Family Safety in the certificate chain.
