How do i stop my replies going into my inbox?

I am running Windows 8 and using Thunderbird as my email program. If I reply to any email, my reply goes into sent items but I also have a copy put into my inbox.

The setting in "Copies and Folders" when sending a message Place a copy in: "sent" folder on info@jaminadventures.com

none of the other checkboxes are checked in that section.

Is there a Sent folder in the folder pane, with the *special* icon? (not the generic yellow folder)
