setup 2 profiles for 2 different email addresses. can access one but not the other. would like them both to come to the same place when i launch tbird but know which one the email came to. need to be able to select from one or the other when sending thanks bill

That would probably be overkill. You can set up multiple accounts in one profile.

I had originally setup the 2 email addresses in the default profile with different folders. When an email came in to email1 it would go into both email1 and email2 inboxes, that's why I tried 2 different profiles. how can I configure the one profile so that all emails come into the same inbox and then still have the choice to pick one of the 2 different addresses for outgoing? I am bringing my mail from outlook express and am trying Mozilla for the first time.\bill

Are these true separate accounts, or is one a "sub account" or alias of the other?
I am not sure, one is my personal email and the other is my home business

What do you mean with 'I think'? Please be specific. Do these email addresses belong to the same email provider and you access them using the same credentials?
