I have tried and tried to get rid of that BING and search.conduit.com stuff! I do not want it. I've tried going to about:config ; Preferences ; browser.newtab.url .... it won't let me change it. It has hijacked my browser. Sick of that crap. HOW DO I GET RID OF IT????

Conduit You will need to uninstall the underlying software and then use the search reset addon. There may be a user.js file involved also.
- see Remove a toolbar that has taken over your Firefox search or home page
- and Troubleshoot Firefox issues caused by malware
You should in any event scan for malware and adware with multiple tools, conduit may not be the only issue.
Bing Is a normal search option, although you shold be able to choose something else.
Flashplayer You did not provide full system details when posting the question, but from what you did supply I note two versions of Flash player are installed. You will probably need to use an uninstaller from Adobe and uninstasll Flash Player, then reinstall for Firefox and other browsers.
Malware (I will add specifics about conduit later, meanwhile try this) Sometimes a problem with Firefox may be a result of malware installed on your computer, that you may not be aware of.
You can try these free programs to scan for malware, which work with your existing antivirus software:
- Microsoft Safety Scanner
- MalwareBytes' Anti-Malware
- Anti-Rootkit Utility - TDSSKiller
- AdwCleaner (for more info, see this alternate AdwCleaner download page)
- Hitman Pro
- ESET Online Scanner
Microsoft Security Essentials is a good permanent antivirus for Windows 7/Vista/XP if you don't already have one.
Further information can be found in the Troubleshoot Firefox issues caused by malware article.

This guide looks ok. Some of the screenshots and procedutes are slightly dated so for instance the orange firefox button is shown top left where as the menu button is now top right.
Here is the information for your FlashPlayer problem.
You also have multiple versions of FlashPlayer installed. For that you will need to use Adobe's uninstaller and then reinstall FlashPlayer in Firefox and Internet Explorer
Note the instructions include a link for downloading the uninstaller utility.
I ended up downloading the free trial of MalwareBytes' Anti-Malware and it removed it. The browser is back to normal. Something to note, is that part of the "hijacking" this thing does, is that it does not allow you to change the setting under about:config

That is why I mentioned the user.js file. The user.js file is used to overide settings made in about.config. See
- http://kb.mozillazine.org/User.js_file
- Profiles - Where Firefox stores your bookmarks, passwords and other user data_how-do-i-find-my-profile
Have a look in the profile, see if you have a user.js file. If you have and did not create it yourself it may probably be deleted. Although to be safe you could just rename it.
You should also scan with multiple tools not just with the one from Malwarebytes.
