On one of my computers when I open firefox the master login requiring me to type my master password has disappeared. But when i go to any of my sites the passwords are in use as if I had. This means anyone with access to this computer can access any of my secured sites. How do I fix this.

Thanks

Re-install the Master Password. Then re-start Firefox. Is the problem still there?

You can use the same password you had.

Note that the master password won't stop access to Firefox. If you cancel the dialog to enter the master password then you can still open Firefox and if you use an extension then all you would need to do is to start Firefox in Safe Mode. Firefox would normally only ask for the MP on startup if you use Sync or if you (re)open a web page with a log in form and a password is stored in the Password Manager.

You can log out from the Software Security Device (e.g. click Cancel in the Show Passwords dialog) to protect the passwords against viewing and force having to re-enter the MP again.
