I have checked my outgoing mail settings and everything seems right. Also just went on my ISP online server and mail is up and running just fine there. I can send and receive. It seems to be a problem with Thunderbird but I don't know what. I use verizon and so it is not a problem with logjam. I don't know what else it could be. The error message I get is: "The Message Could not be sent because the connection to outgoing server timed (SMTP) smtp.verizon.net timed out. Try again." Well I've tried again and no dice. Any suggestions appreciated!
