fyi, no idea if applies to you : https://www.howtogeek.com/345946/microsoft-blocks-all-windows-7-security-updates-unless-you-have-antivirus/
So you have turned off any ad blockers and tried ? I have no info to work with here as you have it (send info to Mozilla) turned off in Firefox.
Please try turning off Hardware Acceleration Copy/Paste about:preferences#general into the Address Bar then down to Performance. See if that helps.
Can also try : SAFE MODE
- https://support.mozilla.org/kb/Safe+Mode
- https://support.mozilla.org/kb/Troubleshooting+extensions+and+themes
In Firefox Safe mode these changes are effective:
- all extensions are disabled (about:addons)
- default theme is used (no persona)
- userChrome.css and userContent.css are ignored (chrome folder)
- default toolbar layout is used (file: localstore-safe.rdf)
- Javascript JIT compilers are disabled (prefs: javascript.options.*jit)
- hardware acceleration is disabled (Options > Advanced > General)
- plugins are not affected
- preferences are not affected

Hi, please : uninstall Firefox. Then Delete the Mozilla Firefox Folders in C:\Program Files , C:\Program Files(x86) & C:\ProgramData Then restart system. Then run Windows Disk Cleanup. (Note: This should be Pinned and run Weekly, If never done below expect 10's of gig's) Then run it again and click the button that says Cleanup System Files. Note: your Firefox Profile is saved. But you should make a back up before you do :

Reinstall with Current Release Firefox 59.0 with a Full Version Installer
Please let us know if this solved your issue or if need further assistance.
No. Exactly the same result. Some websites OK, like ebay. Others not. like wunderground.

Can you spot a pattern? One thing about the Google logo on the results page is that it's embedded in a link. Is the problem specific to images embedded in links?
This issue exists on every copy of Firefox that i use. I have 2 Win 10 machines at home, and a Win 7 at work. We can try doing a trillion things, but the fix will have to come from Mozilla.
I'm switching to Chrome and edge until this bug gets worked out. I cannot believe that nobody else has reported this major bug.

Hi lionelbob, was the problem solved or not solved?
Since last week, we've gotten more clarity on a recent bug:
ClearType Issue
If you adjust the zoom one tick -- hold down the Ctrl key and tap either the + or - key -- does the missing content fills in?
Missing content plus a successful zoom test are characteristic of a new bug in Firefox 59-60 affecting users who disabled ClearType font smoothing in their Windows settings. This is expected to be fixed in a 59.0.2 update but the timing is not clear.
If you don't want to re-enable ClearType, then the workaround is to temporarily disable Firefox from using hardware acceleration. The following article has the steps for that, and the change takes effect the next time you exit Firefox and start it up again:
Firefox's performance settings
Any improvement?
