I imported my bookmarks from google chrome into firefox. I am deleting google chrome from my computer and want to make sure I don't lose my book marks.

HI, no you will not loose imported bookmarks from Chrome. fyi you should always do this so do not loose them :

You may want to move/copy the bookmarks in the Imported from Google Chrome folder to a regular folder in the Bookmarks Menu folder or the Bookmarks Toolbar folder and remove the imported folder.

You can consider to export the Google Chrome bookmarks to an HTML file before removing Google Chrome.

You can open the Bookmarks Manager in Google Chrome (icon with the three bars > Bookmarks > Bookmarks Manager) and select "Organize > Export Bookmarks to HTML File"
