current Firefox releases show the recently bookmarked list in the toolbar Library drop-down list (Library -> Bookmarks).

If you want a bookmark that acts as a smart folder like you had in older Firefox versions then you can paste this place URI in its location field. The maxResults=10 parameter sets the number of results to show. Close and restart Firefox to make this folder work properly.
