I have my e-mails grouped together in the same thunderbird INBOX. They have disappeared, the INBOX is empty and my new e-mails are downloading but nothing appears in my INBOX. Please help.

My e-mails have now come back. All the column headings had disappeared. I have now got them back but no subject column now. How can I get this subject column back?

go to a folder that is complete, access the heading menu widget on the end of the heading list, select apply columns to (The last entry) and navigate to the affected folder. I have no idea why they left the Subject entry off that list.
