Hello, For the last few days, every time I try to access my Google accounts (Gmail, Google Chat, Youtube, Google Photos, etc) it will not let me sign in. Instead it redirects me to the "Clear cache & cookies" page of Google Help. I have cleared cache/cookies, logged out of everything, restarted my computer, checked for updates on Firefox, etc but the problem still remains. However, everything functions perfectly when I'm on another browser like Safari. But I prefer Firefox and it's rather inconvenient to have to work in two browsers at the same time. Any help? Thank you, Bella

Hi. That is a problem with the CHIPS feature that partitions cookies. There is a fix rolled out that disables CHIPS but that only work if you have enabled studies.

You can disable CHIPS via about:config.

  • about:config => network.cookie.CHIPS.enabled => false

You can open about:config via the location/address bar. On the warning page, click "Accept the Risk and Continue" to open about:config.
