Thunderbird 128.6
When I compose a new email, the composition windows seems to show double line spacing, looks like this: test
test
test
Yet, when the message is sent and received, both the sent and received emails look like this:
test test test
How can this be adjusted, very difficult to properly format an outgoing message. Thanks for your help.

If you have any addons, you might check help>troubleshootmode. or install the thunderbirdhtmlhtml addon at https://www.betterbird.eu/addons/index.html so you can easily see the HTML in the source when you write it. That may offer clues to your situation.

Thanks, but this has no impact. I have spent hours trying all of the obvious fixes.

The solution was to replace the default Sans Serif font with Arial, which works correctly.
