I have several 33 extensions that read will install after restart of Firefox. I have restarted and rebooted several times and none install. I am using Firefox 3.16.3 and Windows 7 Home Edition version 6.1

Most of the extensions worked at one time

Your extension files in your profile folder may have become corrupt. Try doing as instructed in this article section: http://kb.mozillazine.org/Unable_to_install_themes_or_extensions_-_Firefox#Corrupt_extension_files.

  • Do the above with Firefox closed (File > Exit)
  • The files will be re-created when you restart Firefox.
