I close out and go into standby and when I come back it says Mozilla is already running???

I close out the window I'm in out put my computer in standby, then when I come back and try to get in it says that Mozilla is already running and I have to log off then and log back on. Why is this happening when I'm closing my page before I go into standby?

if you can't close Firefox... Try to open Task Manager (Press and Hold: Ctrl + Shift + Esc) And find name "Firefox.exe" in task manager list, right click and click "End Process Tree" and it will close immediate.
