Although my sound is working for games it is disabled when I am on the internet.
The sound is working normally when I first start the computer or play a game. It is not on when I go on line. How do I correct this?

Is it same with Internet Explorer?
If Internet Explorer works fine, first update Firefox. Click on Help Menu and select Check for Updates. Repeat this till no other updates are found.
Internet explorer is not working either.
