Addons don't appear work/after update to FF4

Even reinstalling add-ons causes them to disappear again when I restart FF.

Google tells me to open my profile page (Which the intrestions lead me to "Application Data\Mozilla\Firefox\Profiles\8k8tz4sg.default" on this XP machine) close FF and delete the 3 "exentions" file, but I have done that many times and they still do not appear.

I have aalso tried temporaliy removing prefs.js as well at the same time (as I have seen suggested), but it still does not work
