previously setting firefox as the default web browser caused urls embedded in email to open in firefox. in the current version this is not working. setting default browser to safari works but if it is set to firefox a 'no associated application could be found' error message is returned. I dont what has changed recently (if anything but there seems to be a bug or conflict between mac mail and firefox. I dont use safari but have to currently (as default) to avoid having to constantly copy and paste urls in mail messages.
