Change "Save As" context menu shortcut

As you all know the 'save as' shortcut in the right click context menu is 'v', right? Since I use it quite often, I'd like to change it to 'l' for easier accessibility when also having to press 'enter' afterwards. I used to be able to do this by editing the en-US.jar file, but in the newer versions of Firefox this file is nowhere to be found.

Unfortunately Google isn't being much of a help either. Also, I don't want an add-on or plugin, I just want to be able to change the keyboard shortcut.

Does anyone know of a way this can be achieved in the newer Firefox versions?

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

You don't want an add-on...

I think the .jar file you're looking for probably is compressed with others into the omni.ja file. We had a thread last year where a user successfully altered that file to change some keyboard shortcuts, but I haven't tried it myself. See: Making the Home/End keys work on Mac like they do on Windows/Linux

Actually, that thread isn't directly relevant to the "accelerator" keys on menus, but the overall approach probably is similar.

Yeah, actually, I found out that while that specific .jar doesn't exist anymore, the keyboard shortcuts are now handled by browser.dtd in the omni.ja file, so I managed to change them there.

Thanks for the link though, that would've probably had made it easier to figure out, lol.
