Solution: Make the "StatusbarEx" add-on work with FF 29
1) Install StatusbarEx.
2) Install Status-4-Evar.
https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/addon/status-4-evar/
3) Restart Firefox and close it again.
4) Go to your Firefox Profile folder.
5) Open the folder "doudehou@gmail.com".
6) Open the folder "chrome" and then "content".
7) Open the file "main.xul" with a text editor.
8) Search for the line <toolbarpalette id="status-bar">.
9) Replace it with <toolbarpalette id="status4evar-status-bar">.
10) Save the file and restart Firefox.
Enjoy it.
