(Today is 05 May 2015.) My OS is WIndows 7. My anti-virus is Microsoft Security Essentials and Malwarebytes. Up until year 2013 inclusive my favorite browser was Mozilla Firefox. Beginning in 2014 it became unusuable because loud voice and animation popups plus spam and phishing hyperlinks infested it plus all the formatting (colors, fonts, the normal appearance) disappeared. I reinstalled it many times. I regularly perform defragmentation and disk cleanup. Multiple times a day I update my anti-virus and malware protection.

Last year I had different anti-virus and malware protection but they didn't clear up the problem with Firefox. Last year I also got a new computer but still no rectification of the Firefox problems. I have no such problems with Google Chrome or Internet Explorer so I'm compelled to think that the problem resides in Firefox. What can I do???
