Hello

Since I upgraded to version 38 of Firefox on Mac, I have a problem with the Private Browsing window

This is not a functionality issue. It is a visual problem exactly.

With a normal window, the top bar you can see normally as always https://i.imgur.com/eghXt2i.png

But opening a new private window, you can see that in the top navigation bar, letters are cut at the base https://i.imgur.com/1P12vJR.png

Also functional system buttons "Close, Minimize and Full Screen" appear moved up on the bar https://i.imgur.com/U68TUm6.png

I would like to add that since upgrading v.38, the size of the Firefox window that I never fully occupy the screen, Firefox now automatically opens occupying all the screen... This is like Firefox v.38 forget the window size configuration

The title bar looks a bit less high in the Private Browsing mode screenshot like it is shifted up a few pixels. We recently had another thread about such an issue on Mac, but PB mode wasn't mentioned in that case.

Do you have a normal display or a HiDPI (Retina) display?

Looks that this is the style sheet used on Mac:

Try to toggle the browser.tabs.drawInTitlebar to false on the about:config page.

You can open the about:config page via the location/address bar. You can accept the warning and click "I'll be careful" to continue.

Hello

I opened the about:config and I searched for the entry browser.tabs.drawInTitlebar but it was false by default
